The Lindera Group has strengthened its position in the luxury interiors market with the acquisition of Ateliers Muquet, a cabinetmaking workshop with a proud history in crafting the finest cabinetry since 1640, and now recognised as a Living Heritage Company.
With more than 40 years’ experience in interiors, the Lindera Group announces it acquisition of Ateliers Muquet in Carrières sur Seine, near Paris. This new acquisition brings new strengths into the Lindera Group Signature division and underlines its positioning as a company devoted to excellence.

hand-crafted decorative finishes will give the Group the ability to satisfy the demands and expectations of its most prestigious clients.

Ateliers Muquet joins Technics d’Agencement and La Manufacture as the latest member of Lindera Signature, which combines fine craftsmanship with groundbreaking interior design solutions for demanding clients wishing to create exceptional spaces in France and internationally.
Created out of the merger between Atelier 78 and Muquet Création, Ateliers Muquet has been recognised and celebrated for its expertise in luxury interiors and fine cabinetmaking since 1640. Based in Carrières sur Seine, near Paris, Ateliers Muquet is an accredited “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant“, and excels in the creation of materials, unique ornamentation and innovative design. It contributes to all key production stages, and has demonstrated a rare level of excellence in creating decorative wall surfaces and exceptional furniture design.
The company currently employs 30 qualified craftsmen and artisans, all of whom will continue to contribute their expertise and specialist skills – many of them steeped in tradition – together with current CEO Christophe Lalla, himself a cabinetmaker and member of the Les Compagnons du Devoir professional guild. Christophe Lalla will continue in his current role as a member of the Lindera management team.
